Initially, the City of Santa Ana's Workforce Investment Board contacted us to redo their website. We were in the process of setting up this contract when the City asked us to step in and create an online Youth Services Directory that they could update themselves.
The Challenge
They needed this online database
up and running in three weeks time, in time to for a city councilwoman to demo it at a town meeting. To make matters a little more complicated, the City's web server did not have database capability. Juxtaflo was up for the challenge!
The Solution
Within three weeks, Juxtaflo built a custom database using PHP technology. Because the City of Santa Ana wanted this online directory to be updatable by the client, Juxtaflo set them up on Flopanel™, Juxtaflo's proprietary content management system. We partnered with talented city staffers who pulled together the database information and provided helpful feedback on the fly. The end result? A huge successs. And, the City received positive in-person feedback at the townhall meeting which made everyone happy.
